Dr. Atul Wad has over thirty years of experience in sustainability, entrepreneurship, technology management, innovation, and business strategy. His career has spanned the private sector, not-for-profits, academia, multilateral development banks (MDBs), international organizations such as the UN, and the venture capital industry. He specializes in designing and implementing value-added technology-based ventures that build upon competitive resources and produce social and environmental returns in addition to private. Dr. Wad has taught and extensively published on various disciplines, including technology management, inclusive innovation, strategy, and international business.

Over his career, Dr. Wad has helped new ventures and academic institutes raise substantial funds from public and private sources. He has provided strategic advice to corporations and to governmental and international agencies in sustainability and technology areas and led policy research on the issues involved in new business development in emerging markets.

Dr. Wad received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Organizational Behavior and International Business at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Atul earned his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India.
